About Counselling

Counselling can be very helpful to anyone who is finding it difficult to handle the stress in their lives.  You may be feeling angry, upset, anxious or overwhelmed.  Your relationships with your partner, family or friends may not be going well or you may be feeling isolated or alone.  The pressure of today’s society, for example, unemployment, housing problems, lone parenthood, or ill health can also be very stressful.

Counselling can also be of great use to you when things are going well.  You may want to have some time with a counsellor to work out new ways to enrich your work or personal life.
